Oscar is a Brooklyn based conductor, trumpet player, and music educator. As a faculty member at the Third Street Music School, he directs adult and youth ensembles, teaches in the Partners program, and leads the trumpet studio. Check out Oscar’s bio for more info.

Oscar’s wife and fellow musician, Caitlin Featherstone, is also a multi-instrument teacher. Oscar and Caitlin play and teach together, and they will work together to make sure that you meet your musical goals on your schedule.

In addition to making music, Oscar enjoys transcribing music and creating arrangement for ensembles and students. For students looking to develop these skills and take a deep dive into Music Theory, Aural Skills, Ear Training, and even Conducting, Oscar is your guy!
